This is a wonderful pattern to work with. The instructions are easy to follow and the nightgown is wonderful to make. I used a different fabric for the yoke and made my own piping in a pink colour and it turned out absolutely perfect. It is the most comfortable nightgown I have ever made and have made a few as summer dresses for myself as well. I guarantee you will be pleased with this pattern. It is an easy pattern for beginners as well as advanced sewers. I've actually seen this done up with the smocking as well and it turns out wonderful. You will be pleased with this pattern and I'm sure you will find that your little ones will love one for them as well. I've made one for my 7 year old granddaughter and she lovers her as much as I love mine. there is even a pattern for 18" dolls and she is after me to make that now. I guess I know what I'll be doing next.... M. Fawcett
