If you are going on vacation, whip up one of these easy to sew backpacks for your 1 - 4 year old to take all of his/her favorite books, small stuffed animals, candy or other special things. Great for airplanes! Very easy to sew with no zippers or buckles - there is a button opening at the top! Takes just 5/8 yd of 60" fabric to make one and it sews up quickly - just a couple of hours. We recommend denims and twills.
