Unlike most smocked ensembles, Lady Divinity is suitable for a variety of fabrics. It can be made using batistes, small ginghams, tiny florals or even pinstripes. The gown features a sweetheart neckline, embellished with contrasting bias banding and optional heart appliques and bias bands. If you prefer, lace insertion may be substituted for an heirloom look. The skirt is smocked, using an enclosed geometric design.
